Background

Paula J. McGill, JD, MBA
A vast majority of my practice involves representing tenants, homeowners, and landlords in a variety of issues, including HOA and condo disputes and landlord-tenant lawsuits. 2024 marks my 30th year in practice and my 22nd with the Firm. BACKGROUND In 1985, I left Long Island to start Emory University. In 1988, I earned my business degree. After working in banking for 3 years and earning an MBA in finance, I attended law school at the Univ. of Pennsylvania. LAW PRACTICE I've had a diverse practice in NY, GA, MD, and DC. In my first 8 years, I represented large nationally known corporate law firms. I narrowed my practice location to Georgia and Maryland and have given up my New York and DC practices. I also handle family law, employment, contract disputes, small business matters, and consumer law on a limited basis. Based on my experience, my rates are extremely reasonable. I can provide those rate because (1) I'm a solo practitioner with little overhead; and (2) I can handle matters efficiently. I have free 5-10 minute initial consultation screening calls. If additional time is needed, an office or phone consultation will be charged.
